Why go for Online Counselling?
Online Counselling is easily accessible and convenient. You can find a counsellor to talk to wherever you are and at a time convenient to you. It saves your time from travelling and no need to worry about being seen seeking for counselling. Moreover, it has been proven that online counselling is as effective as face-to-face counselling once the trusting relationship between the counsellor and the client has been formed and they work out the counselling goals and intervention plans collaboratively.

Will my counselling information be kept confidential?
Our counsellors are all professionally trained and adhered to the ethical principles in counselling. Everything that happens during the counselling process will be between the therapist and you except under special situations. We only request you to provide the necessary personal information at case intake and all information will be kept confidential and destroyed within a year upon termination of counselling. We will only use the email for communications of notices and news updates.

Can I choose the psychologist or counsellors whom I will go into session with?
Certainly, you can. You can choose which professional you want to start your counselling sessions with among every therapist who shows availability on the day and time of your choice. You can see the therapists’ information, photograph in the “Our team” section.

What kind of mental health issues do you treat?
We work with a wide range of psychological issues. No matter who you are and where you live, our team of experienced psychologist and counsellors who specialize in various mental health field will be ready to serve you. For example, for anxiety issues you can choose a counsellor who applies Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or another that focuses in Mindfulness. It is essential for you to understand and to agree how best to help you solve the problem. Our therapists are ready to listen and offer you a safe and confidential space.

When can I start a session?
You can start immediately by booking in our system in the MindCare Website and the booking to be made must be 24 hours prior to the appointment time. The system is very user friendly and easily accessible. Once you have made the booking, the system will lead you to make payment prior to seeing the counsellor. You will then receive a confirmation email about the appointment details.

How much does it cost?
Our counselling team includes professionals with different qualifications and experiences. The counselling fees vary according to the qualifications of the counsellor as follows and you can choose at your own choice:

  • Registered Psychologists $1200 per hour
  • Certified Counsellor $950
  • Counsellor $800

How do I make payment?
Payment is made through our webpage. Once a psychologist or counsellor have been chosen and the appointment booked, the payment will need to be made before the counselling session. We accept Visa, MasterCard. Our payment system is completely secure.

What if I want to cancel the session?
Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment for a full refund. If for any reason a session is cancelled less than 48 hours but 24 hours prior, 50% of the fee will be charged. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours, no refund will be made.

Do Mindcare counsellors meet the registration requirements?
Psychologists and counsellors team at Mindcare is qualified, experienced and registered with professional bodies corresponding to their geographical area. Some professional staff possess both local and overseas qualifications and registration status to practice.
